Meet Adgie

Ryan's dog Adgie came to us on sat evening. After a 2.5 (both ways) hr drive. She is a border collie/ chow mix and sweet as apple pie. :) Her name is a concotion of Ryan's own.

White Christmas

I have been dreaming of one forever. Fastward...year 29.5 its going to happen!!! I can't believe it! Hope everyone has a merry christmas. :)

Merry Christmas

I got a great Christmas gift from a total stranger today. I took the kids to McDonald's as a special treat on our way to go see Santa at the mall. The Stranger in front of us at the drive-through bought our lunch. It was so nice, and really blessed me. It was really nice. Its nice to know that there are still random acts of kindness out there. Its been a rough week, and I had been really burnt. People willing to give without thought of getting anything in return.

ryan's tooth

He lost it sometime that night, he kept wiggling it, and he put it under his pillow all by himself. The tooth fairy left him 10 whole dollars!! Inflation's a bitch. I used to get a quarter! lol
Funny story though, I really wasn't expecting it to be out that morning, and all the tooth fairy had in hand (or her purse) at the time was ten bucks. So its all she had to quickly slip to my dear sweet boy.
He is very distraught. I have heard him say that he has "an awful smile" and "when it grows back will I be Ryan again?" Its definitely a new look for him. Its taking me some time to get used to.. But he still as cute as ever.

Side note after searching his room the tooth fairy did leave mommy the tooth behind as a souvenir, and its safe and sound.

Ryan's becoming a big boy

Today ryan's front tooth started coming loose eating an apple.
He came up to me "mommy, I have a secret to tell you, my tooth hurts"
Its pretty loose and it could come out before christmas, its one of his two front teeth...
Any day now...

Got the highest grade yet. 99.76 Hopefully I do as well next semester. A and p part 2. :) now to enjoy my break...ahhh..

Snow

Today was lovely. woke up this morning, got kylie ready for school.
I opened the door to wait for the bus to get her. It was snowing over here hard @ around 7 am. So woke ryan up to my line I used to give rachel growing up. " It's snowing", and he got up and dressed just as fast as she used to!!! We got to play in the snow and throw snow balls and make snow angels for about 30 or so minutes before he had to go to school.
I got david to go shopping with me to get some toys for the kids for christmas. We went and got breakfast, and then I when to toysrus to get ryan some toys I thought of to get him while at walmart.

Btw... I am REALLY excited about the toy I picked out for Tommy!! I hope he likes it I think its pretty awesome myself.. but I am a little more uncertain about what I got for william and micah...but am hopeful...

I still haven't gotten anything for connor and ethan....running on empty on ideas, so i am letting david think of something
