TOday

I was driving home, and what I saw broke my heart. Today on the side of the road I saw an elderly gentleman in a nice (yet old) suit. He was holding up a sign that read: I need a job. He wasn't begging for money, just a way to make money. I put up a silent prayer for him, and thanked the good Lord for the fact that my husband has one. I can't imagine feeling so desprate that one would have to humble themselves, and sacrifice their self-respect so they can make ends meet. Please pray for that man, and all the Americans out there struggling in the dark.

Ryan was practicing with our white board, and I was cooking. So I told him to practice writing his number looking nice. I told him to write 1 to 10. So?

Ok, mom. This one is for you, you math wiz, you. (anyone else know feel free) My class is based on precents, I'd like to assign a point system so I can know easier what I am doing in my class. If possible..
Here is the break down
Lecture 70% of the total grade 4 tests, one final, think they are all valued the same
Lab 30% -- of that 30% midterm, final each worth 45% (of that 30% ) and homework 10%

i'd want a point system so I could know how many points each test would be worth, and then how I would go about translating a grade in said point system. And what number of points would be required to get my A. Is that even possible. I have had other classes figure it like this..

Got my grades for my midterm on thurs, and my test on tuesday... 103, and 98 respectively.

I am soo relieved. Speaking of the relief...

Ethans doing really well, it was very mild, and thankfully his fever only lasted a few days... He did get tami-flu seeing as he does have asthma... so I think that helped alot.

Going to have a gargage sale too, soon, so I can pay for my spring class, hopefully I'll make enough.

torture

took lab mid term thursday, mini panic attacks everytime check to see if teacher posted grade. about once an hour trying not to think about it have another test today.
